RECIPE FOR ODYSSEY

Ingredients:

35 to 45 students with immense capabilities for learning and fun One young dog
3.2 acre property Interesting, cooperative, and kind staff
Educational trips Changing curriculum
1 cup creativity ½ cup adventure
2 cups inspiration A pinch of open-mindedness
1 tablespoon unpredictability 8 cups intelligence
2 cups unity 5 quarts friendliness
¼ cup generosity 5 sprinkles of curiosity
1 pint of imagination 5 ounces responsibility
1 pound humor 3 grams good study habits
A smattering of hugs Fun experiments

Directions:

1. Combine students, helping community, talented and devoted staff and dog. Pour carefully onto the learning grounds. Be sure students are well situated with their necessary support: advisory, sibling families, and self-science. Insert large quantities of fun experiments, cool mind twisters and different studying techniques.

2. Pour on generosity and imagination. Pop in humor and some good study habits, then go to the school kitchen. Spice up the mixture with a little adventure, and add some friendliness to the potion. Add a little unpredictability to make things interesting, and balance it off with some unity. Sprinkle generously with responsibility, adventure, friendliness, curiosity, and humor. Agitate as necessary. Add hugs here and there.

3. Mix thoroughly with a pen or, if cooking in Japanese or math class, a sharpened pencil. (For best results, mix while traveling the world, stirring carefully while in three different countries, one each at morning, noon , and night.)

4. Marinate for about nine months (late August to early June) in challenging educational trips and an ever-changing curriculum.

5. Garnish with a pinch of open-mindedness.

6. Return this dish to its newfound community at the start of each school year. Yields new learning and understanding each day.
